Full Time Job
Job Purpose:
Providing administrative support for the Banijay Rights LA Sales team.
Responsibilities:
• Supporting Sales VP / SVP in all aspects of sales administration.
• Maintenance of client database.
• Provision of availability and sales reports.
• Support Sales VP / SVP's in researching the catalog for suitable programming to include in a sales pitch.
• Processing of deal memos including liaison with Legal & Business Affairs to provide assistance with contract follow-up from clients.
• Liaison with Technical Services to ensure that preliminary deal memos are completed and to review pending orders on a weekly basis to discuss any delivery delays or other matters.
• Liaison with Credit Control and Royalties Accountant with regard to queries.
• Replying to general sales inquiries and client liaison as required.
• Filing of buyer correspondence.
• Liaison with post-sales support needs and requests from marketing for specific information from a licensee, i.e. broadcast dates, timeslots, etc.
• Maintaining calendars and administrative support for EVP, SVP, and VP including all travels schedules and subsequent arrangements.
• Organizing expense reports for EVP, SVP, and VP.
• Prepare and organize management and board presentations.
• Other duties as required.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
• Minimum 2 years of administrative experience which may include previous experience as a sales assistant or coordinator, but not a necessity.
• Prior entertainment experience is a plus, but not a necessity.
• Knowledge of the media landscape in assigned territories.
• Fast learner and keen to learn.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills with the ability to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Advanced skills in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Ability to anticipate needs, be proactive, resourceful, and flexible.
• Strong people skills, including the ability to work effectively with other executives, assistants, and staff at all levels.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
