Bunim-Murray Productions is looking for an attorney to handle a variety of television production-related legal matters for unscripted programming as part of our growing Business & Legal Affairs team.

Attorney

The Attorney will handle a variety of television production-related legal matters for unscripted programming, as part of our growing Business & Legal Affairs team.

Primary Responsibilities
• Draft, negotiate and review a wide array of production-related agreements
• Conduct day-to-day production legal on several unscripted projects
• Review programs and creative write-ups for clearance and risk analysis
• Provide timely and thoughtful legal advice on risks, rights, and other issues
• Handle other business and legal affairs matters as needed

Basic Requirements
• Bar membership required
• 0-3 years of legal experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience at a network, studio, production company, new media company, and/or entertainment law firm
• Transactional/contract experience
• Experience in entertainment, intellectual property, labor/employment, and/or other relevant fields
Candidate Characteristics
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to identify, prioritize and resolve legal issues quickly and effectively
• Ability to establish effective relationships at all levels of the organization and outside the company
• Strong negotiation, drafting and analytical skills
• Excels under pressure in demanding, fast-paced environment
• Highly self-motivated, well organized with a strong work ethic

At Bunim Murray Productions, we understand the importance of a well-rounded benefits program and offer a competitive package including time off and 401k plan, with a salary range between $90,000 -$110,000 depending on experience.
