This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship

A premier boutique public relations and marketing firm seeks part-time intern to assist in media relations, online publicity and events in our Los Angeles office. This internship provides support to the marketing/PR executives, while exposing students to a wide variety of specific marketing and communications skills.

We are currently looking for an intern to work on such projects as: fashion events, non-profits, restaurants, health/wellness and other clients in the lifestyle arena.

This internship will allow students exposure to various elements of a marketing communications firm. The right intern will be motivated, organized and creative and will have skills, such as research, strong writing capabilities, familiarity with all Microsoft Office and Adobe systems.

Duties will include: research, copywriting, creative brainstorming, media scheduling, media list building, online marketing, social media and communication with vendors, clients and the media. Interns will be exposed to print, broadcast and online media with programs focused on clients in the lifestyle industry.

Qualified applicants should have coursework and /or demonstrated interest in one or more of the following fields: public relations, communications, business or marketing.

We are looking to fill two positions, each of which would be required to be available for 15-20 hours per week for either 4 or 6 months.
