We are currently seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Part-Time Account Coordinator to support one of the firm's partners in the Music and Digital Talent departments. This is a remote position with the expectation that the candidate be available in New York City as needed for client appearances and events. There is potential for this role to evolve into a full-time position.
The ideal candidate is communicative, resourceful, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can maintain composure under pressure. Discretion, professionalism, and the ability to multitask against tight deadlines are essential. This is a demanding but rewarding opportunity with growth potential for someone passionate about entertainment PR.
Key Responsibilities Include:
• Provide day-to-day support for client needs
• Attend and cover red carpet events, personal appearances, and photoshoots
• Assist in coordinating and executing client photo shoots
• Monitor, track, and report on media coverage for campaigns
• Collaborate on strategic PR plans, including pitching, research, and media outreach
• Develop creative story angles for media outreach
• Draft press materials (press releases, bios, pitches, etc.)
• Stay current on evolving media landscape and contacts
• Create monthly client and internal reports
• Monitor press coverage and flag key opportunities
• Research media outlets and digital trends
• Manage multiple client accounts and assist with new business efforts
• Coordinate and moderate media interviews
• Assist in preparing clients for media training
Qualifications:
• Availability to work 20 hours/week (Mon-Fri, either 3 full days or 5 half days)
• Bachelor's degree (4-year college) required
• Strong writing, research, and organizational skills
• Proactive self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent problem-solving and time management skills
• Comfortable in a high-pressure, fast-paced PR environment
• Able to handle confidential matters with professionalism
• Must be comfortable taking direction remotely
• Access to a personal laptop/computer
Preferred:
• Interest or experience in talent-focused entertainment PR
