Our client, an entertainment and theme park company, is looking to bring in a Senior Manager, Project Facility.
In this role, you will bring projects to life by managing creative design decisions, ensuring constructibility and overseeing project budgets / schedules. You will also receive support to ensure positive vendor management, innovative engineering / design direction and strong hands-on field supervision.
This is an exciting chance to perform project management across creative design, construction, vendors / MEPs / architectural and civil design firms, ICR process, document control (contracts, change orders, RFIs, shop drawings, directives, submittals, punch lists, short form agreements, as-builts, warranties, lien waivers, etc), contractor inspections, logistics, access plans, field operations and monthly area meetings.
You will optimize workflow between project participants, budgets and schedules; maintain quality assurance for design / construction and operational use of completed facilities; foster a successful team of engineers; perform walk-throughs / inspections, performance reviews, reporting and forecasting; and serve as the SME for the design and constructibility of one or more of the following disciplines: Facility Mechanical, Electrical, BMS/FAC, Plumbing and Civil systems.
You will also have to understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
You will be reporting to the Project Director and working alongside the Facility Design Manager, Architect / Engineering / MEP and Civil Design Firms, vendors, equipment suppliers and a team of Mechanical, Electrical, ELV or Civil engineers (both locally and internationally).
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering is required
• 10-15 years experience working in either design/engineering, construction management or construction firms dealing both with entertainment design and construction management
• Experience dealing with large scale construction projects along or with experience in working in various positions with a general contractor
• Ability to handle estimates, budgeting, bidding, and field experience dealing with all aspects of projects required
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience
