Our client, a music company, is currently in search of an Executive Vice President of Business Development. This person plays a crucial role in increasing the business by acquiring new clients and establishing productive and profitable relationships with external clients and organizations. The EVP of Business Development will provide strategic direction to the business and lead all the business development activities.
Responsibilities
• Sourcing, directing and evaluating new business opportunities, partnerships, joint ventures, etc., that are within the organization's strategic growth and development plans.
• Research, develop and lead negotiations.
• Design and implement strategic sales and marketing plans, so that the sales goals are achieved.
• Maintain and develop productive relationship with existing as well as potential clients.
• Identify new market segments and assess operational problems or issues to stay ahead in the competitive market.
• Responsible for getting feedback from the clients, networking effectively to acquire new business clients, to study and develop strategies for improvement of business products and services, etc.
• Builds and reviews reports, tracks revenue, monitors profitability and evaluates results to get insight into the progress of the organization.
Qualifications
• A bachelor's or a master's degree in the relevant industry, business administration, or business management.
• At least 10 years' experience in a sales or business development leadership role at an entertainment company and/or advertising agency.
• Expert in content and brand sales.
• Proven ability to hire, train and manage teams as well as motivate and influence team members.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills, focused, and have an optimistic approach while dealing with difficult situations.
