Full Time Job
The Director of Supply Chain Planning leads Supply and Demand Planning for the organization. This position is responsible for extracting omni-channel demand inputs from all cross-functional areas of the organization and converting the data into actionable operational plans. This position also helps develop and lead the company's Sales, Inventory & Operating Plan (SIOP) to ensure long-term continuity of supply from our manufacturing and 3PL partners This position leads the ongoing education and implementation of new planning processes and technological enhancements that improve key KPI's, including forecast accuracy and inventory turns.
This role will lead and develop the team responsible for day-to-day execution against the supply and demand plans and focus on ensuring proper inventory levels are maintained globally at our distribution centers to provide the proper support for company's D2C and B2B customer base.
Essential Functions
• Develop and lead strategy for Demand and Supply Planning, forecasting, and inventory management ensuring business is enabled to grow by having the right inventory in the right locations at the right time.
• Mentor and develop a team of managers and planners through empowerment and delegation practices.
• Actively manage and audit inventory levels across several international locations.
• Lead SIOP for the company to ensure the success of a cross-functional forecasting process.
• Ensure the continued alignment of business priorities, initiatives, activities, and the delivery of agreed upon performance KPI levels, which includes tracking and reporting on key KPIs (inventory turns, forecast accuracy, fill rate, etc.) for the Demand and Supply Planning function.
• Collaborate with the Contract Manufacturing team in analyzing network capacity, location and pricing to optimize cost and services for the production of finished goods.
Education
, Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance or Logistics, or commensurate work experience, required. Master's Degree in Business or Supply Chain, preferred.
• Ten (10) or more years of Supply Chain Management experience, required. Skin Care, Personal Care, Beauty or Pharmaceutical industry experience, preferred.
• Three (3) or more years of experience managing a team of direct reports including staffing and performance development, required.
• Knowledge and/or experience with manufacturing systems (MRP, ERP, forecasting, etc.) as well as advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) and other computer systems, required.
• Experience managing supply chains in an omni-channel environment, including D2C, B2B, and Ecommerce is strongly preferred.
• Manufacturing, Lean Six Sigma, Finance, systems implementation experience, preferred.
• Proven ability to lead projects and programs with a demonstrated record of successfully executing deliverables.
• Experience working with and influencing high level cross-functional leaders in an organization.
