Position: Social Media Intern
Location: Remote and In-Office
Duration: Three (3) Month Term
Hours: Part-time - Sunday & Saturday (at-home), Monday & Wednesday (in-office)
Duties:
• Create and manage a bi-monthly newsletter for Electric Entertainment and ElectricNOW.
• Craft and schedule engaging LinkedIn posts.
• Develop, write, and publish blog posts on relevant industry topics.
• Monitor and respond to audience interactions, including comments and tags across social media platforms (Instagram, X/Twitter,
Facebook, Bluesky, YouTube).
• Execute daily posting and maintain an active, engaging online presence.
• Assist in developing social media campaigns.
Required Qualifications:
• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant degree program (Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Media Studies).
• Strong writing skills with the ability to create clear, compelling content.
• Basic knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Passionate about social media trends, digital storytelling, and audience engagement.
Desired Qualifications:
• Familiarity with analytics tools and social media management software.
• Experience with graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
