This is a Part Time Paid Internship

Electric Entertainment, a full-service television, film, and sales company, is seeking an Intern to join our International Sales & Distribution team. The ideal candidate will have experience with sales and office administration; great opportunity for someone interested in entertainment sales and distribution specifically. This is a part-time (2-3 days a week), in-person, paid internship, with an initial 3-month assignment and the possibility of extension.

Duties:
- Supporting the sales team with preparation for Film and TV markets/festivals (Cannes Film Festival/Marche du Film, NATPE, EFM, MIPTV, TIFF, AFM, MIPCOM, ATF), including registering for events, shipping marketing materials, contacting vendors, booking accommodations and transportation, booking meetings
- Maintaining inventory of marketing materials - posters, flyers, catalogs, office supplies, and others
- Maintaining contact database (Distribution, Broadcasters and 2025 contact sheet)
- Research all upcoming Electric Entertainment sales and industry events, new markets, news in the trades, places to stay, offices, etc
- Maintaining and updating all market & festival online pages along with Cinando and The Film Catalogue web pages
- Shipping of marketing materials and contacting vendors regarding these shipments
- Sending of email newsletters and announcements to client base
- Attending IFTA webinars and creating reports
- Taking notes for all internal and external meetings
- Supporting other departments (Domestic Distribution and Marketing) when needed
- General office administration support

Required Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enjoys working with people
- Organized and detailed-oriented

Desired Qualifications:
- 1 year or more of entertainment sales experience or office administrations/support
- Bachelor's Degree
- Proficiency in additional languages is a plus

Salary: $17.28 per hour.
