This is a Full Time Job
Electric Entertainment, a Los Angeles-based full-service film, television, and sales company, is seeking an experienced Office Manager to effectively manage the needs of its busy operations. This is a full-time, in-office position.
Responsibilities:
• Liaison between office and maintenance, IT, building contractors, phone vendors, cleaning crew, security guards, etc.
• Onboard new employees with laptops and security clearance
• Keep the office organized, including ordering supplies, coordinating general maintenance and
upgrades of office equipment, phones, computers, etc. as needed, manage office video conference set-ups
• Hire and supervise a team of onsite employees including PAs, Interns, Reception
• Order and track office supplies and equipment
• Provide general technical assistance; Mac OS and IOS troubleshooting, email, Internet issues
• Coordinate projects for the office, including construction and storage
• Manage key fobs and building access
• Oversee facility functions including security system, phone systems, storage, HVAC and landscaping
Production Responsibilities:
• Coordinate the maintenance, acquisition, and transport - including customs when applicable -- of state-of-the-art camera equipment and gear, as well as post-production and computer equipment
• Manage inventory system for film and TV assets
• Effectively communicate with production offices and address needs as they arise
Job Requirements:
• At least 3 years of experience in facilities/office management or similar responsibilities
• Experience managing staff
• Experience trouble shooting minor computer issue and phone systems in an office environment
• General knowledge of production equipment, rental companies, and disposition of gear
• Experience with shipping through customs desirable
• Superior skills in communication, multi-tasking, prioritizing, and troubleshooting
