We're seeking an experienced Staff Production Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be a problem solver, negotiator, savvy communicator, organized, self-sufficient, in lock-step with the unions, with outstanding work ethic, attentive to details, and a wizard at production.
Responsibilities
Work closely with company's HOP to manage and evaluate entire production process, from initial bidding all the way through final delivery of post-production
Manage the daily process of holding/booking key crew members, union requirements, startup meetings and onboarding, production insurance, DOT compliances, production documents, and wrap procedures
Administers setting up calls with agencies and directors while tracking and distributing all creative and agency documents to key staff members
Coordinate the treatment/pitch process with directors and freelance creative talents that meet both directors' vision and agencies needs
Be the first point of contact to production teams when dealing with any issues that might arise during pre-production, production or during wrap
Continually maintain a database of company jobs and industry standards. Updating company production manual, forms, and calendars on a regular basis
Cultivate strong relationships and communication with vendors, agents, and union crew
Manage company internal Google Docs
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years experience as a Production Coordinator/PM
Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a can-do approach
Strong organizational and managerial skills
Proven ability to multitask and foresee upcoming potential production issues alongside solutions
Demonstrated ability to manage and reconcile production budgets
Knowledge of union rules and AICP standard practices
Track record of client services
Experience with; HotBudget, Excel, Google Docs, Wrapbook Payroll
