We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated professional to join our team as a production coordinator. In this role, you will supervise the production assistants, maintain production schedules, and handle a variety of other tasks that ensure productions run smoothly. Production Coordinator Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform general clerical duties to support directors, producers, and production managers
Manage calendars and scheduling
Provide telephone coverage; take messages and direct calls
Maintain budgets and track billing
Plan and coordinate events and seminars; handle catering
Maintain production schedules
Organize off-site productions
Arrange meetings and talent travel
Collaborate with production managers to meet the needs of cast and crew
Work with all departments that contribute to the production
Provide administration assistance to Production Managers when needed
Prepare and review internal documentations for management and production staffs
Monitor and manage production schedules for timely delivery
Communicate production status to management on regular basis
Develop training documents, standards procedures, and production guidelines for staffs
Build positive working relationships with co-workers to achieve productivity
Maintain budget and financial records according to company policies
Proofread company documents before printing and releasing
Stay current on company projects and branding
Support management as needed
Production Coordinator Requirements and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in film, communications, marketing, management or related field
Internship experience at television stations or production companies are an asset
Previous experience as a production coordinator or production assistant
Familiarity with all aspects of production to facilitate effective communication
Superb organizational and time management skills
Ability to complete multiple tasks in a fast-moving environment
Capable of meeting deadlines and working with daily time constraints
Talent for anticipating needs
Professional judgment for handling confidential information
Excellent written and spoken verbal communications; professional telephone etiquette
Adept at general administrative tasks such as budgeting, data entry, and word processing
