VFX Coordinator
Description
Elastic is seeking a motivated, upbeat VFX Coordinator to work on an exciting project from conception through to completion. This role is the right hand of the producer, ensuring artists needs are met, assisting with I/O, maintaining open and clear communication with the team, and helping with tracking statuses of shots in production.
Responsibilities:
· Work closely with Producer and CG Supervisor to schedule, track, and manage the workflow and ensure deadlines are met
· Organize dallies and take clear notes, follow up when necessary
· Post shots for client review and relay client notes to the artists in a timely manner
· Assist in shot delivery
· Quickly communicate to the producer and the supervisor if any issues arise to resolve problems promptly
· Assist in the I/O process
Experience and Skills Required:
· Minimum of 2+ years experience in VFX post-production
· Knowledge in animation software and use of visual effects such as Maya, Houdini, Nuke
· Understanding of CG based VFX workflow and common file formats and resolutions
· Ability to organize and prioritize multiple and possible conflicting tasks
· Experience with scheduling
· Excellence in client interaction
· Great problem solving skills
· Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
