EJ Media Group is seeking a highly organized and motivated Administrative Assistant to join its growing team.
This is an entry-level position with priority given to candidates that have previous experience in a fulltime and/or internship role at a NYC public relations firm. Applicants must be solution-orientated and have a successful track record of meeting deadlines, working well under pressure, interacting with senior management, and handling confidential information.
The ideal candidate has an interest in public relations and is detail-oriented, proactive and able to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Handle all administrative duties for the Company (answering phones, booking conference rooms, deliveries, etc.)
- Track client coverage and compile clips
- Work with account teams to create/maintain client reports (weekly, monthly and quarterly)
- Participate on client calls, draft agendas and take notes at all meetings
- Manage and monitor editorial calendars
- Work with supervisors to maintain and update all media lists on a timely basis
- Attend client related events and support account teams, where appropriate
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in PR, Communications, Marketing or Business
- Previous administrative role at a PR, Marketing or Advertising agency required
- Must be personable, enthusiastic, punctual and a hard worker
- Excellent communicator with solid attention to detail
- Strong written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently, effectively multitask and prioritize time
- Experience with basic administrative support in a corporate setting
- Proficient in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel) and Google Drive Office Suite
- Knowledge of Cision and social media platforms a Plus
