Eclipse Law Corporation, an entertainment law firm representing high-profile writers, directors, actors, producers, and production companies, seeks remote interns starting mid-May. Must be bright, professional, and energetic, with excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Duties include: reviewing and drafting agreements; conducting guild and other legal research; interfacing with clients, agencies, and management companies; assisting in document management; and so on. In addition to performing day-to-day tasks, interns will be assigned readings from a structured curriculum (which includes books, articles, and a wide variety of contracts) and expected to discuss them during periodic meetings with the supervising attorney. This is a great opportunity to learn about the entertainment business, to build your resume, and to establish a professional network. School credit can be arranged (if permitted by your school).
This is a part-time internship (less than 10 hours per week).
