Creative Production Artist

The Role:
The Production Artist (PA) is a critical role at eclipse advertising. The PA will have a passion for art and entertainment with a broad understanding of entertainment marketing. The PA is responsible for overseeing all print final file deliverables and managing internal and external assets utilized by the Print Creative team. The PA is highly organized with a natural ability to collaborate with all members of the eclipse team. The PA is able to juggle multiple urgent deadlines in a calm and cool manner. The PA is a self-starter and detail oriented with fluent knowledge of the Adobe CC Suite.
Roles & Responsibilities
• Manage all aspects of the creative production process
• Manage the quality and timeliness of all final file deliverables
• Collaborate with Creative Director, Account Director & Finisher to ensure all details meet the campaign style and guidelines
• Work with finishing and creative director to manage asset needs
• Manage client brand guidelines to ensure utilization and adherence at all times
• Ensure Creative Director visibility on final proofs and/or physical comps
• Ensure technical and legal requirements are adhered to for each element
• Oversee templates and assets as they are added and updated, server organization and communication of technical or template changes as they occur.
• Execute any production level revisions across all components
• Create and format materials for various internal and external clients
• Serve as creative support for the Print Creative Team
• Own the art setup process
• Review all art files for accuracy and communicate changes to team
• Lead proofing and printing process
• Manage numerous timelines and client revisions
• Manage all final files for accuracy and upload to final destination
• Retouching and masking
• Build presentations as needed (Key Note, Slides, Google, PowerPoint etc.)
• Manage, order and organize deliverables including file naming
• Oversee printing and mounting for client presentations including QC
• Create all photo and font maps for comps or finished work as needed
• Other responsibilities as needed
Skills
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, Google Docs
• Must be able to build final print mechanicals
• Experience in Key Art, OOH, Awards, Product Creative, Finishing, Newspaper, etc.
• Knowledge of multiple print formats, medias and techniques
• Detail-oriented and extremely organized (multi-tasking is second nature)
• Ability to work under pressure
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent grammar, spelling and proofreading
• Savvy with type, color and layout design
• Management of high volume projects
• Flexibility and availability to support creative requests at all times
• Team Player
• Positive can-do no job is too small attitude
• Understanding of print creative process
Qualifications
• 5 years of experience working with a creative team in an agency or studio
• Entertainment industry experience a plus
