Echoverse is looking for a Coordinator to support the President and development team. Echoverse is a next-generation entertainment studio with scripted audio drama podcasts in the pipeline. The company is also preparing to announce an exciting new animation studio later this year.
Responsibilities include:
• Scheduling: Handle scheduling and calendar management for the President and development team, including meetings (in-person and over Zoom), calls, lunches, and more.
• Distributing: Distribute materials such as agendas created for meetings, notes taken during meetings, incoming material, research documents, and a weekly newsletter.
• Tracking: Keep a detailed record of incoming materials, development and production projects, meetings (generals, production meetings, and more), and general company information.
• Legal/Finance: File company expenses, update files with invoices and talent/producer payments, coordinate NDAs, and keep track of any ongoing deals throughout the back-and-forth.
• Development: Read, analyze, and give feedback on material for development. Participate in creative discussions and sit in on meetings with writers/animators as well as research IP.
• Special Projects: Participate in research projects, create decks (including investor decks, pitch decks, informational decks, etc.), mail gifts (holiday and start gifts), attend conferences, etc.
Qualifications include:
• 1-2 years of assistant/coordinator experience (can be entry-level for the right person).?
• Based in Los Angeles (can be outside of LA working in Pacific Time for the right person).
• Must be able to juggle multiple urgent tasks at once and easily adjust to shifting priorities.
• Must be very organized, detail-oriented, and proactive with responsibilities.
• Must be interested in development, an avid reader/watcher, and open to new AI technologies. If interested in graphic novels, webcomics, romantasy, sci-fi/horror, or animation, that's a plus.
• Must know or be able to learn: Zoom, Outlook, Monday.com, Dropbox, Trello, Google Drive (Sheets, Docs, Calendar, Contacts), Microsoft Office (Word), Keynote, Evernote, Final Draft, Slack.
• Bonus if you have experience with graphic design, social media, video editing, writing, or AI.
This position is mainly remote but will be involved in all development and production discussions over Zoom (and on occasion must travel locally). There is a definite opportunity for advancement and growth as the company grows.?
