Fall Intern - Film Acquisitions and Sales

This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship

Internship Duration: September through December
Time/Days Required: 8-9 hours a week
Workplace Requirements: Virtual internship | Must have computer access | Must attend one weekly meeting (we can work around your schedule)

Seeking several Film Acquisitions & Sales interns for Fall Semester, 2025. This is a virtual internship. We accept interns from all over the country!

Must be enrolled in school for course credit to be considered. Enrollment verification will be checked.

Looking for students who have an interest in the business, sales, and marketing side of the entertainment industry. Interns should have an interest in how successful creative elements translate into successful business elements. This internship is focused on how the creative and business aspects blend to create commercially viable and marketable projects.

You will be successful in this role if you have an interest in:

• Film Festivals
• Film Markets
• Film Programming
• Film Sales
• Film Licensing & Acquisitions
• Film Marketing
• Watching Films

Duties consist of:

• Film festival research
• Social media research
• Talent research
• Building databases and creating grids on talent and filmmakers
• Researching the current theatrical market landscape and the role it plays in sales and acquisitions
• Reviewing film submissions (evaluating their quality & marketability)
• The process of film licensing & acquisitions
• Reviewing film screeners
