Associate Producer (LIGHT SETS & SOME EDITING)
SHOOTERS AND AVID EDITORS ONLY (NO PRODUCERS, NOT EVEN YOU!))

EOnline is looking for an Associate Producer to assist in shooting, and occasionally shoot, highly stylized short form segments (ex: makeup/hair tutorials, as well as straight interviews), Job also requires creative editing on Avid and assisting in the production of the department's daily, live streaming discussion series Live From E!. This requires an intimate knowledge of entertainment and pop culture news and ability to work under tight deadlines
NOT LOOKING FOR PRODUCER-TYPES. LOOKING FOR CANDIDATES WHOSE PRIMARY FOCUS IS SHOOTING AND EDITING.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist in the shooting of short form segments
• Light sets
• Operate digital camera (ex: Canon C300) for occasional segments
• Working knowledge of Avid in order to cut a wide range of short form content, from simple cuts to more creative segments.
• Assist segment producer in whatever tasks necessary for completion of their assignment
• Work under tight deadlines
• Utilize entertainment news knowledge to brainstorm segment ideas.
• Help work with Rights and Clearances to acquire and clear necessary materials
• Additional duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Candidate must be camera savvy with an strong knowledge of digital cameras. They must be able to assist a DP on a shoot or operate creatively and efficiently themselves. They also must have experience lighting small sets. At least one year of experience on Avid is required. Candidate must have at least two (2) credits of PA or higher on a cable or network show or its website. Candidate must be intimately aware of current entertainment gossip stories and related personalities. Candidate must be responsible, accurate, creative, organized, self-motivated and flexible. Must be able to take direction from several show producers as well as department manager
