Full Time Job
Duplitech is a provider of services for physical and digital distribution of Film/TV content for home entertainment. Each month Duplitech prepares assets for DVD, Blu-ray and Digital for hundreds of titles. We have in-house 16mm/35mm Film Scanning to complement this service. We are currently seeking to add a part time assistant to our IT for general help desk user/system support with growth/full-time opportunities.
Job Functions
• Identifies, researches and resolves problems reported by end-users
• Responds to telephone calls, email and personnel request for technical support
• Tracks and monitors problems to ensure timely resolution
• Document procedures and knowledge base
• Follow through to job completions
• Manage company machines/databases (system upgrades, software/patch installs, asset management)
Job Requirements
• Must be focused, able to work independently and in a team environment
• Must be capable of learning quickly
• Must be organized and detail oriented, must follow up and follow through on every detail
• Must be able to work on-calls during after-hours and weekends
• Must process top notch customer service and problem solving skills
• Excellent communication skills, work ethic, punctual, reliable. Desire to excel
• Experience in hardware and software installations, configurations and troubleshooting
• Proficiency in all Windows OS, Mac OS, Linux OS
• Experience in Active Directory user Administration and Mac OS Interface
• Experience with Firewalls, Switches, RAIDs and general networking is a plus
• Experience in the media/entertainment industry is a plus
