Camera Operator

We are seeking a reliable, versatile, and creatively driven camera operator for a retainer-based contract in or near CHARLOTTE, NC. This role will begin as a 1-month engagement and may extend based on performance and fit. The ideal candidate is a self-sufficient shooter with a strong visual sensibility and experience across multiple formats including podcasts, interviews, branded instructional content, and vérité-style follow docs.

What You'll Be Shooting:
Multi-cam podcast productions (studio and mobile setups)
On-location interviews and branded testimonials
Instructional and educational videos
Behind-the-scenes and follow-style documentary content

Gear Requirements:
Ideally owns Sony FX3 or comparable (FX6, FX9, or similar).
Canon/RED/ARRI cameras also great options, but not required
A reliable lens kit (coverage for wide, mid, and telephoto preferred)
Audio kit and basic lighting kit are a plus
Ability to self-produce small-scale shoots a major plus

Qualifications:
Based in or able to work in Charlotte, NC
3+ years of experience in field production, ideally with branded or documentary-style content
Strong eye for composition, lighting, and storytelling
Comfortable working solo or as part of a small crew
Proactive communicator and calm under pressure
