Dreamworks TV - Director, Digital Marketing
Responsibilities
Summary: DreamWorks Animation Television is seeking a Director of Digital Marketing who will lead social strategy and campaign execution for all TV and DreamWorks brand campaigns. The TV marketing department oversees and supports the launches of kids' animated television series across a variety of streaming partners. This role will report to the SVP of Marketing.
Responsibilities include:
• Serve as the social category expert to DreamWorks Marketing department
• Develop & oversee execution of digital campaigns across social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, etc.)
• Direct internal team & external agencies through their work
• Supervise content lifecycle including creative development, publishing calendar, and community engagement
• Manage paid social campaigns, including budget allocation, across domestic and global social channels
• Research social media trends and inform management of changes that are relevant to marketing activities
• Collaborate with PR and Brand on social amplification and ensure digital support for key announcements
• Provide guidance to A/V and Print departments on creative optimization for social media platforms
• Liaise with distribution partner marketing teams to facilitate promotional opportunities
• Analyze and present campaign performance & learnings to marketing and production executives on a weekly basis
• Serve as the DreamWorks representative for all NBCUniversal symphony activation
Qualifications/Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Marketing, Communications, or related field
• At least 6 years of experience in a social media role
• Expert knowledge of popular social channels: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, etc.
• Experience using social media marketing tools like Sprinklr, Later, ListenFirst
• Experience using Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
