Description:
DreamWorks Animation is hiring a Story Artist to contribute to its feature animation projects. The position involves working closely with directors, writers, and other artists to create compelling storyboards, add creative ideas to story material, and effectively manage story assets.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and present storyboards with strong staging, composition, and storytelling elements.
• Incorporate knowledge of acting, anatomy, perspective, and editorial into story material.
• Generate inventive and entertaining ideas to enhance story content.
• Utilize software for storyboard creation and asset management.
• Work collaboratively with the production team to ensure deadlines are met.
Qualifications:
• Required:
- Proficiency in Photoshop or similar software.
- Strong knowledge of acting, anatomy, perspective, staging, and composition.
- Ability to present storyboards effectively.
