DreamWorks is seeking a Digital Colorist to work closely with the VFX Supervisor, Directors, and Producers to refine the color of animated films for both theatrical and home entertainment versions. This is a temporary, hybrid role based in Glendale, CA.

• Salary: $163,755 – $190,000
• Workplace Requirements: Hybrid, 3 days per week in office, based in Glendale, CA
• Years of Experience Required: 3+ years of experience in color grading
• Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree preferred
• Hard Skills Required: Proficiency in Lustre, color grading, and delivering final film versions
• Soft Skills Required: Collaboration, communication, attention to detail
• Preferred Skills/Experience: Experience with REC 709 and HDR home entertainment grading

Job Title: Digital Colorist (TEMP)
Location: 1000 Flower St, Glendale, CA

Responsibilities:
• Deliver a final, film-maker approved color-correct version of the movie for all required formats, including digital cinema and Dolby.
• Grade films for REC 709 and HDR home entertainment.
• Collaborate with the VFX Supervisor, Directors, and Producers on color correction.
• Partner with the Digital Grading Production Supervisor to ensure all post-production deadlines and deliverables are met.
• Ensure the department is adequately staffed and scheduled to meet production goals.

Qualifications:
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in color grading and servicing deliverables.
• Proficiency with Lustre is required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Work Requirements:
This position is hybrid, with a minimum of three days per week in the office.

Salary Range:
$163,755 – $190,000 per year
