DreamWorks is seeking a Data Analyst to join our Digital Resources team. The Digital Resources team builds, deploys and administers analytic dashboards, reports and models to help teams make better decisions. Our ideal candidate has strong communication & analytical skills and will turn data into understandable information. This position works closely with our Feature and TV production teams to track, optimize and visualize their digital resource(rendering, disk space, assets) usage.
Responsibilities include:
Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
Filter and ''clean'' data by reviewing performance indicators to locate and correct problems
Work with management & production to prioritize business and information needs
Work with large amounts of facts, figures, and number crunching to see through the data and analyze it to find conclusions
Present data analysis findings and/or translate data into an understandable document or dashboard
Qualifications/Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in business intelligence, market research or analytics
- Tableau, Looker or similar dashboarding tool experience
- Strong SQL with experience in querying large, complex data sets.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in dealing with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to establish priorities, work independently or within a group, and work with minimal supervision
- Ability to handle a fast paced, occasionally high pressure environment
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
Desired Characteristics
- BA/BS degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Math, Finance or equivalent work experience preferred
- Programming skills, Python, LookML knowledge are a plus
- Familiarity with digital content production
