We're looking for an editor to join us on a contract basis to start, with a possibility to move into a fulltime staff role.

We're searching for someone who is both a creative and technical fit-a capital E Editor. Someone who sees post-production as more than a job; it's part of who they are. You care deeply about the craft, and are always refining your process.

As an Editor with Don't Tell Comedy, you will play a crucial role in bringing our content to life. This position demands a blend of technical skill, creative flair, and a passion for storytelling, particularly in the realm of stand-up.

This is an in-person role. Applicants must live in the Los Angeles area and be able to commute to our Hollywood office multiple days each week. We don't staff AE's so all applications must do their own prep/delivery.

Portfolio Requirements:
In addition to your general portfolio and resume- please include one example of each of the following
Sizzle Reel Example (something with pace)
B-Roll Package (branded content preferred)
Multicam Edit (comedy or live event strongly preferred)
Vertical Social Content

Qualifications:
Proven experience in editing comedy content
High proficiency in Adobe Premiere and/or Resolve
Ability to work swiftly and efficiently, with a capability to positively receive feedback and provide creative solutions to challenging notes.
Skilled in uploading and preparing footage for editing.
Exceptional attention to detail and strong project management skills.
Experience in working with multi-track split audio and a good understanding of aspect ratios.
Familiarity with high-resolution file transfer applications and knowledge of various video encoding formats.
