Live-Event Support Audio/Lighting Technician

The Disneyland® Resort Hotels are seeking an Audio/Lighting Technician with between 2-to-5 years of experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Audio/Lighting Technicians work at the Disneyland® Resort Hotels in support of the many changing events and shows in the convention facilities.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• 2-to-5 years of experience as a live-event support audio engineer or lighting operator (STUDIO WORK IS NOT SUFFICIENT EXPERIENCE)
• Must have experience setting up and operating analog and digital audio mixing consoles as well as drive racks, microphones and communication systems
• Requires the ability to do permanent installations as well as temporary set ups to include a complete understanding of signal flow
• Must have experience programming and operating ETC, Grand MA, and HighEnd lighting consoles with the ability to design shows utilizing moving and conventional lighting fixtures
• Basic understanding of:
• Rigging principles
• Power distribution
• Closed circuit TV systems
• Must have Guest-service experience and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Requires availability to work varied shifts and days to meet event schedules

STARTING PAY RATE OF: $19.03 per hour
