Job Summary:
We're seeking an innovative and data-driven Associate Manager, Professional Recruitment Operations who will work to streamline our recruiting coordination processes across Disney Parks, Experiences and Products (DPEP) Professional Recruitment Team. The Associate Manager, Professional Recruitment Operations will find quick wins to remove immediate operational roadblocks, create the future state process for DPEP Professional Recruiting Coordinators, while enhancing the candidate experience. This role can be based in Orlando or Anaheim.
Responsibilities:
• Team Management
• Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Recruiting Coordinator team
• Lead, train, develop, coach and serve as a point of escalation for the DPEP Recruiting Coordinator team
• Monitor team metrics and ensure all team SLA's are satisfactory or above
• Partner with the Sr. Manager, Professional Recruitment to deliver results through goal setting, mentorship, development and performance management
• Train new recruiting coordinators on process, workflow and ATS
• Operational Efficiency
• Own and define the process and documentation for a seamless on-boarding hand off experience to the Global HR Operations team (GHRO)
• Maintain a strong risk management focus, anticipating potential challenges and issues before escalation
• Build trusted partnerships with recruiting leaders in the enterprise HR organization, across a variety of teams and centers of excellence, to collaborate, and drive alignment and change management
• Partner with Sr. Manager, Professional Recruitment in developing framework/workflows for launching new coordination process initiatives
• Responsible for background check adjudication process clearance, and escalations to the appropriate approval entities
• Resolve hiring leader and recruiter escalations
• Assist recruiting leadership with process improvement
• Project Management
• Drive and execute projects that will improve the effectiveness of our Recruiting coordination process, with an agile and consultative approach
• Manage and conduct all other projects, as assigned by recruiting leadership
Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum 3 years of management experience or HR functional expertise
• Previous work experience in an HR Operations environment
• 2 years of experience utilizing Kenexa, and SAP
• Advanced knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience managing teams through change
• Ability to travel up to 10%
• Demonstrated ability working in a highly-collaborative environment
• Excellent problem-solving capabilities and judgment; ability to make sound decisions independently; solutions-oriented; thrives in ambiguity
• Strong analytical and project management skills, proven ability to design and communicate clear processes, and a detail-oriented yet flexible approach to problem solving
Required Education
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related field or equivalent experience
