Disney Theatrical Group is seeking a highly organized and efficient Legal Coordinator, Files Administration to join its legal team to update and maintain electronic and manual filing and provide back up support to the team's Executive Assistant in supporting attorney's administrative needs . This role reports to the Paralegal Manager and requires superior organization skills and a passion for getting details exactly right . The Legal Coordinator should be comfortable working within established systems and implementing new workflows where needed. The ideal candidate is methodical and thorough in their work and derives satisfaction from working in the background to keep the legal team running smoothly . The role requires keen attention to detail, a service-oriented attitude, and a strong work ethic. Expertise in DocuSign and NetDocuments is a plus .
Responsibilities:
( 6 0 %) Update and maintain the department's current electronic filing system by renaming signed agreements within established conventions, ensuring pdfs are searchable, determining appropriate file location, and cross checking against DocuSign history to ensure all fully executed agreements are filed accurately .
(1 0 %) Act as the administrative point person for the entire department's upcoming shift to a new electronic filing system, working alongside the Studio Legal Operations team and Efficiency committee to transition more than 20 years of records into the new system .
(10%) - On an ongoing basis, ensure all contracts are signed in a timely fashion , in compliance with Disney corporate requirements , and immediately d istributing the document within Disney's filing systems and to all relevant internal and external colleagues .
(10%) Immediately upon full execution of contracts, update tracking systems including production binder s and certificate of insurance tracking, and work with the paralegal team to ensure contract term dates are calendared .
( 10 %) Provide back up support to the Executive Assistant in supporting the attorneys' administrative needs.
Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
• The ability to methodically approach a high volume of tasks with impeccable accuracy.
• Ability to handle a high volume of work with minimal supervision.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Superior organization skills with the ability to prioritize workload efficiently and effectively.
• High level of professionalism and ability to maintain absolute confidentiality.
• Expertise in Adobe PDF, MS Word, Excel, and DocuSign
• Ability to work with other departments and key partners.
• Demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment.
Education
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree and/or relevant work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working in file management at a law firm or other business handling legal documents
• Expertise in NetDocuments
• Experience within and/or interest in the theatre industry

The hiring range for this position in New York is $59,100.00-$81,100.00 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
