Job Summary:
Job Description
Responsibilities:
• Ensure development and production cost information are properly reflected on Excel payment recaps. Monitor and record weekly production funding and foreign currency pre-buys.
• Generate SAP reports and prepare monthly Payment Recap to SAP reconciliation; Research and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist in preparation of consolidated summary reports including Cash Flow Forecast, Tax Incentive Summary, and Original Programming Cost Summary.
• Create and update Cash Flow models to forecast estimated production spend.
• Review and process Marketing, Short Form, and other miscellaneous invoice payments.
• Maintain tracking log for outstanding invoices and contracts; Review vendor aging reports to ensure payments remain current.
• Prepare Consolidated Bank Reconciliation summary report for Production Finance Executives to review aged and unusual items.
• Process journal entries and support the quarterly close process.
• Prepare government reports; Assist with tax submissions and SOX compliance audit requests.
• Prepare ad hoc reports and projects as needed.
Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum 3 years' experience in accounting is required.
• Demonstrate analytical skills and must be highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and self-motivated.
• Passionate about television programming with a keen interest in and aptitude for learning the business.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and SAP.
