Responsibilities and Duties of the Role:
Summarize job responsibilities, core deliverables and major duties. What is required for the position to exist?
• Perform support duties such as requesting project numbers, assisting with bank account setup, managing signature cards, overseeing check cashing privileges, coordinating accounting systems, reviewing and coding payments, and managing various reporting requirements.
• Assist production accounting teams with various tasks and escalate major concerns to the manager.
• Serve as a liaison between show accounting teams, production, and contract administration.
• Resolve issues that may arise in the day-to-day production environment.
• Ability to work closely with senior Production Finance executives as well as executives from Production, Labor, and enterprise/external partners.
• Own and execute various ad-hoc and special projects within the department.
• SAP Vendor Setups: Create and maintain vendor profiles in SAP; ensure all required documentation (W-9, banking, insurance, etc.) is complete and compliant.
• SAP Payments: Process vendor invoices and payments; reconcile transactions and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Show Setup with EP/Cast & Crew: Coordinate new show onboarding with payroll providers, ensuring correct setup for workers' comp, fringe rates, and reporting requirements.
• Cashet Setup: Establish and maintain Cashet accounts for production teams; manage card issuance, funding requests, and reconciliation.
• CTA Card Setup: Set up and maintain production credit card accounts (Corporate Travel Account); monitor usage, limits, and reporting.
• Bank Account Setup: Work with corporate treasury to open and configure production bank accounts, including signatories and online access permissions.
• Foreign Funding: Coordinate setup and tracking of international funding, wire transfers, and currency conversions as needed for global productions.
• Ad Hoc Projects: Assist the Vice President of Production Finance with special projects, reporting, and analysis as assigned.
Required Education, Experience/Skills/Training
Minimum and Preferred. Inclusive of Licenses/Certs (include functional experience as well as behavioral attributes and/or leadership capabilities)
Qualifications
• Minimum of 2-5 years relevant experience in a related role.
• Bachelor's degree; preferred in accounting or finance.
• Knowledge & Understanding of SAP, including SAP journal entries, invoice processing, and coding/checking payment authorizations.
• Knowledge performing routine accounting and payroll duties as well as ability to successfully complete necessary reporting deliverables.
• Must be detail-oriented and organized, able to multitask, and work effectively under changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced and constantly evolving business environment.
• Working knowledge of SAP, EP, and/or Cast & Crew payroll systems.
• Proficient in PeopleSoft, Vista, PSL, EP Budgeting, and Excel.
• Must be detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to handle sensitive financial information with discretion.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
