Job Summary

As a Manager in Financial Planning and Analysis, you will partner and strategize with DE&E Technology organization to be part of the change. As a Manager with DE&E Technology Finance, you will collaborate and support the DE&E Technology organization on a regular basis to prepare strategic financial plans and allocations for key forecast periods (annual budget, long-range plan, and quarterly forecasts). You will also work closely with Accounting and Controllership on the recurring quarterly close process. This role will be responsible for owning the Consolidation and Allocations under DE&E Technology and get along with a
variety of key collaborators across a number of teams.
This position will be based in Burbank, CA and reports to the Senior Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis for DE&E Technology.
Responsibilities
In DE&E Technology, every day is different! In Technology, change is constant, and operations are dynamic, so we must be flexible. On any one day you might:
• Build and maintain a comprehensive consolidation and allocation model supporting an multi-billion dollar Technology organization
• Compile and present senior level materials for Forecast and Actual cycles
• Establish positive relationships and collaborate frequently with key Technology senior executives, Finance teams across Disney's lines of businesses, and other organizations including Controllership
• Work on ad-hoc strategic analysis and reporting as requested by Technology leaders, lines of business (LOBs) and/or Finance
• Partner with Technology leaders and to map costs to a catalogue of services provided to internal clients; support the Allocations process to ensure that client P&Ls are appropriately charged for services provided by DE&E Technology
• Champion relationship, communications, and analysis for the Technology Service Portfolio across multiple lines of business
• Analyze trends to support storytelling and influence decision-making
• Compile and narrate presentations for review with senior leaders
Basic Qualifications
• 5+ years of relevant work experience
• Collaborative mentality combined with the ability to work independently
• Proven ability to manage multiple results in a fast-paced environment
• Strong financial modeling and analytical abilities
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Intellectual curiosity
• Executive presence; comfortable and confident engaging with senior leaders
• Experience with ERP software such as SAP and COGNOS preferred but not required
Education
• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
• Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g. MBA, CPA) preferred but not required

The hiring range for this position in California is $123,000.00 to $150,200.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
