The approximate dates of this internship are June 2026 through December 2026. If selected for this internship, you will report directly to the Manager of Casting. A cover letter indicating your interest in the ABC Entertainment, Hulu Originals & Onyx Collective Casting Intern, Summer/Fall 2026 position is required.
What You Will Do
As an intern with this team, you will play an integral role in supporting the day-to-day operations of a fast-paced casting department. You will be a member of a smart, dynamic, and collaborative team, contributing to innovative and creative solutions while maintaining a strong focus on quality and efficiency.
Some responsibilities in this role may include:
• Analyzing scripts to identify casting opportunities and create breakdowns.
• Supporting various talent initiatives such as Actor Audition Workshops and the Disney Television Discovers: Talent Showcase .
• Supporting with light scheduling, updating lists and casting databases, and overall general office support.
• Working with assistants to maintain our social media accounts.
Required Qualifications & Skills
• Experience in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• A high attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Experience working in both Mac and PC operating systems
• A strong interest in Television and the Entertainment Industry
• Ability to identify and champion emerging talent to contribute to authentic and inclusive television content
• Collaboration skills and adaptability to work with diverse personalities and across multiple platforms
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working with Canva
• Experience working with Casting Programs (Qwire, Cast It, Breakdown Express , etc.)
• Previous administration experience
Education
• Senior year preferred
Eligibility Requirements & Program Information
Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:
• Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.
• Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Possess unrestricted work authorization

Additional Information
• Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship
• The approximate dates of this internship are June 2026 through December 2026
• Fully available from Monday through Friday, 9am to 6pm PT for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week
• Able to provide own housing for the duration internship program in the Burbank, California area
• Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work
Salary/Benefits
$22.50 - $22.50 /hour USD
The pay rate for this role in California is $22.50 per hour.
