This role reports to the Director, HR Business Partner and supports the live action and animation Production organizations within Disney Branded Television.
Key Responsibilities
• Facilitate the consistent application, implementation, and improvement of HR policies, processes, and programs (e.g., merit and promotion planning, performance management, employee relations, career development, headcount planning, etc.)
• Develop effective working relationships with internal stakeholders, including production teams, technology partners, labor relations, legal, payroll, and fellow HR partners throughout the Company in order to drive business and HR initiatives and priorities forward.
• Lead a high-performing team by encouraging creativity and collaboration, building trust as a credible partner, and understanding your impact. (Instills Trust)
• Elevate the employee experience by utilizing data driven insights to continuously improve talent
• Support all employees as a coach, counselor, and mentor – fostering their growth and development.
• Partner with labor relations, leaders, employees to ensure compliance with collective bargaining agreements and addressing union related matters effectively.
• Adapt quickly to changing demands, develop and implement strategic workforce plans that align with business goals and objectives.
• Collaborate with business leaders to forecast future workforce needs and develop strategies to meet those needs.
• Manage complex employee relations issues, including investigations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.
• Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment by effectively managing a high volume of inquiries and working with partners and stakeholders to resolve matters.
• Foster an environment that ensures alignment and effective communication across all levels of the organization.

Basic Qualifications
• Minimum 7 years of progressively responsible experience as an HR Business Partner or equivalent role

Preferred Qualifications
• Demonstrated experience working with unionized employees, particularly in the entertainment industry, with a strong understanding of union contracts and collective bargaining agreements.
• Ability to address complex business problems by using data to craft compelling narratives and drive innovative solutions (Creative Problem Solving, Data Analysis)
• Experience in leading and developing a team
Education:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA is $165,700 to $202,500 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
