Scheduling Specialist (FX Networks)
Job Summary:
The FX Scheduling Specialist will be part of the team responsible for the day-to-day scheduling and operations for both linear and non-linear platforms. Additionally, the Scheduling Specialist will distribute monthly schedules to internal and external partners and assist the Senior Specialist, Senior Manager and Directors with various projects. This person will require a keen eye for detail along with strong organizational, time management and communication skills. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of television and the media industry, willingness to take on multiple projects, desire to work in various analytical systems and ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities:
• Input and maintain show information and monthly schedules in VPS (Visual Program Scheduling) database.
• Work with Director on delivery of all elements for Linear and Non-Linear.
• Assist with non-linear scheduling in VOD through the scheduling portal – Movies and Acquisitions.
• Assist Director(s) and team with administrative and other various projects when needed.
Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum 3-5 years' experience in video content planning, programming, or related field
• Demonstrate strong computer skills
• Passion and insight into FX programming and the brand
• Strong organizational, time management skills, able to multi-task projects with sharp detail
• Ability to communicate effectively with senior management and other stakeholders
• Strong emotional intelligence and collaborative spirit
Preferred Qualifications:
• Knowledge of Streaming / Multi-platforms a plus
Required Education:
• Bachelor's Degree or related work experience
The hiring range for this position in Los Angeles, CA is $63,386 to $85,030 per year based on a 40-hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
