The ABC Signature Production Finance Department is responsible for the financial management of all our television series.
Responsibilities
• Lead coordination with Treasury to resolve digital banking issues (ACH payments, Direct Debits, PosPay)
• Play an integral role to establish standard methodologies to create efficient banking and Above-the-Line payroll processes
• Supervise Above-the-Line Payroll Studio team
• Partner with Production Finance Executives to provide banking and payroll support for the shows they lead
• Build training programs and support Production with online banking platforms
• Lead daily banking processes to ensure timely approval of Direct Debit payments
• Lead monthly bank account reconciliation reporting for delivery to Controllership
• Coordinate with Contract Administration to ensure efficiency of deliverables and synchronization of policies (payment schedules, check delivery, payment timing)
• Partner with outside production studios on co-productions to review costs to determine validity, manage studio relationship, and report costs corporately
• Develop expertise in SAP processes to assist Production Finance Team with insights and creation of better practices
Basic Qualifications • 5+ years in FP&A and/or Production Accounting
• Payroll experience with union (DGA/WGA/SAG) and non-union
• Strong financial analytical abilities
• Highly collaborative with strong interpersonal and project management skills
• Attention to detail, desire for accuracy, and a strong sense of urgency
• In depth understanding of motion picture industry accounting and financial practice
• Knowledge and experience with union/guild agreements
• Must be prepared to work in a fast past environment and the ability to absorb and understand operational processes and mechanics
Preferred Qualifications • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Suite, SAP, DocuSign, PSL+, and Global Vista
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

The hiring range for this position in CA is $99,500 to $136,700 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
