Executive Assistant, Unscripted Content (Walt Disney Television)
Job Summary:
Disney Entertainment Television is seeking an Executive Assistant to support the Vice President of Unscripted Content, who oversees Hulu Originals' unscripted slate. The Executive Assistant plays a vital role in the team’s productivity, managing the VP’s calendar, travel arrangements, and providing general creative feedback on projects. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, capable of managing high-level relationships with sensitivity, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
• Proactively manage the executive’s calendar, ensuring smooth operations and prioritizing deadlines
• Handle heavy calendar scheduling, email and phone correspondence, submit expense reports, and manage travel arrangements
• Prepare general creative feedback on slate projects
• Maintain and organize contact lists for writers, producers, and creative executives
• Compose correspondence and write synopses and loglines for weekly reports
• Read and review material, providing feedback as necessary
• Offer additional support to other executives and across the Unscripted teams when needed
Basic Qualifications:
• 1+ years of administrative experience at an agency, production company, studio, or network
• Passion for a career in unscripted TV programming
• Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize deadlines
• General understanding of the television development process and cycles
• Knowledge of agencies and networks
• Able to work with minimal supervision and under pressure
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, Google Drive, and cloud-based file management systems (Dropbox, Airtable)
Salary Range:
$52,400 to $70,200 annually based on a 40-hour work week.
