Job Summary:
The Coordinator, Communications supports the strategic efforts of the Corporate Communications team. This role contributes to media research, editorial tracking, internal storytelling, and event support while also providing administrative support to DET's Vice Presidents of Corporate Communications.
The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, possesses strong writing skills, has an interest in internal and external messaging, and works collaboratively within a dynamic organization.
Corporate Communications Support
• Provide general project and research support to the Corporate Communications team across content, executive, and issues communications.
• Analyze media coverage and provide summary briefs with insights on traction and key narratives, including industry podcast and newsletter recaps.
• Maintain editorial and messaging trackers across content and executive communications initiatives.
• Monitor press and social media platforms for relevant breaking news, developing stories, industry news and emerging trends.
• Collaborate with partners across DET's lines of business to align messaging and content.
• Gather input from Strategic Communications leaders for weekly status reports and updates.
• Provide general administrative support for DET's Vice President, Communications.
Basic Qualifications
• 1+ years of experience in corporate communications, publicity, internal communications, or a related field-preferably within entertainment or media.
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Excellent organization and project management abilities; able to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• High attention to detail and ability to deliver accurate, timely work.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Keynote).
• A collaborative team player with a proactive, can-do attitude and strong communication skills.
• Demonstrated discretion and professional judgment in handling confidential or sensitive information.
Preferred Qualifications
• A passion for storytelling, media, and supporting employee culture and engagement.
• Experience with media monitoring tools or content management platforms is a plus.
Education
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
Salary/Benefits
$65,300 - $87,500 /year USD
The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
