Executive Assistant, Comedy Development (20th Television)
Job Summary:
20th Television is looking for an assistant to executives in the Development department. This is a high volume, fast-paced desk, so the perfect candidate will: have superior organizational and communication skills; is highly motivated and detail-oriented; and can remain calm under pressure. Job responsibilities include standard assistant duties, team coordinating, and script coverage.
A day in the life…
• Assist with various administrative tasks including scheduling meetings, rolling calls, and processing expense reports.
• Update grids with staff lists and production calendars.
• Create clip selections from dailies for internal viewing.
• Track incoming material and staffing submissions.
• Collect information for timely internal memos.
• Be familiar with all internal department points of contact, as well as their counterparts at the Network or Streamer.
• Take notes on meetings and calls.
• Watch cuts and read incoming scripts to write loglines and share notes.
What you bring to the role…
• Proven ability to multitask and work independently with little direction and follow up, in a team environment, with changing priorities
• Literacy in Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Critical thinking & problem-solving skills
Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 1-year administrative assistant experience
• Able to present information in a confident, well-articulated, creative and engaging manner.
Preferred Qualifications
• Prior experience interning at a studio, network, or agency
• Relevant coursework in film/television
• Passion for learning and eagerness to be a team player
