Associate Manager, Partner Marketing (Hulu)
Job Summary:
NOTE: This role is currently based in Santa Monica, CA, but will be moving to Burbank, CA at some point during the '25 calendar year with an exact date to be determined.
Hulu's Marketing organization is seeking an Associate Manager, Partner Marketing who will be an outstanding addition to the Partner Marketing team. As an Associate Manager, Partner Marketing you will play a critical role in assisting and supporting the planning and execution of our over-the-top/connected TV (OTT/CTV) display & video paid media campaigns across our device partner platforms (Roku, Fire TV, Samsung, LG, Vizio, etc.). The successful candidate will bring a highly analytical, creative, and flexible growth mindset to the role, which will be critical to delivering breakthrough thinking for this channel. This is a great opportunity for a candidate who wants to be at the forefront of a developing media channel and someone who can help spur innovation and better measurability with our device partners. This is a highly collaborative role which will work closely with colleagues across Hulu marketing, Disney and with high profile external partners.
Responsibilities
• Lead the end-to-end planning, execution, and optimization of paid CTV media across direct channels.
• Ensure campaigns are aligned with Hulu's goals and brand strategy by collaborating with internal teams (creative, analytics, campaign media leads, subscriber acquisition, ad ops) and external partners.
• Act as a day-to-day point of contact for Hulu's media agency of record, providing strategic input and operational support across CTV campaigns.
• Manage campaign deliverables including timelines, trafficking specs, creative rotations, and performance tracking.
• Review media plans and performance reports, synthesizing data into actionable insights and recommendations.
• Support colleagues in editorial and wholesale partnerships in initiatives to identify and deliver added value and incremental support from device partners.
• Stay informed on CTV trends, innovations, and industry best practices to bring forward new ideas and solutions.
• Maintain campaign documentation including media plans, budget trackers, and wrap reports.
Qualifications
• 3+ years experience working in performance media, digital marketing or partnership marketing.
• Strong understanding of performance marketing principles, including direct response creative and digital advertising best practices across CTV.
• Ability to analyze performance metrics and apply data-driven insights to optimize campaigns.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills that enable you to build consensus and enthusiasm among internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• A self-starter capable of working independently but also as part of a team.
• A strong communicator with a can-do, positive attitude and a strong desire to get things done.
Preferred Qualifications
• Prior experience at a premium streaming content provider.
• Familiarity leading campaigns with distribution and strategic wholesale partners a plus.
• Familiarity with paid media across different digital channels and partners.
• Familiarity with A/B testing, audience segmentation, attribution modeling and incrementality testing.
• Knowledge of mobile app tracking solutions (e.g., Kochava, Appsflyer, Adjust)
• Experience with A/B testing, audience segmentation, and conversion optimization is a plus.
Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
The hiring range for this position in Santa Monica/Burbank, CA is $94,200.00 to $126,200.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
