Part Time Unpaid Internship
Job Summary:
The Brand Development and Integrated Planning team is focused on building and managing key franchises across Disney Channel and Disney Junior. The team works internationally to leverage franchise properties to drive business for The Walt Disney Company. The team collaborates with all Disney Channel cross-departmental teams including Development, Platform Strategy, Marketing, and Ad Sales to align franchise and cross-company business strategies.
Responsibilities:
A day in the life…
• Assist in acquisition and distribution of DCWW Brand Development assets, including but not limited to animation, photography, logos, style/branding guides, video, scripts, SFXs, music and other related assets required to support the on-going operations of DCWW Brand Development and Integrated Planning
• Support management of our four current asset systems including the following: naming, organization and uploading of files, user account creation, user permissions and security, and user group communication
• Coordinate and organize long-term plans for critical Disney Channels Worldwide franchises
• Assist in training and act as Brand Development asset systems help desk for cross-departmental DCWW teams and X-LOB partners
• Assist in rebuilding and reorganizing internal Brand Development and Integrated Planning server
• Support management of Brand Development's file and video watermarking process according to Disney Content Protection standards
Basic Qualifications:
What you bring to the role…
• High attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Strong proficiency with Excel and Keynote, video editing and Photoshop skills preferred
• Technology savvy with the ability to learn new systems quickly
• Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities with the ability to work in a very fast paced, reactionary work environment with quick turnarounds and deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
• Recent Graduate
• Strong interest in Television and the Entertainment Industry
• Experience in project management from concept to completion
• Previous experience in a related filed
• Working knowledge of the television and entertainment industry
Additional Information:
Internship Eligibility
• All candidates must be eligible to work in the US
• All candidates must be at least 18 years old
• All candidates must currently be enrolled in an accredited college or university and taking at least one class - OR - be a recent graduate of an accredited college or university within the last 6 months - OR - be currently participating in the Disney College Program, Disney Culinary Program, or Disney Professional Internship Program
• All candidates must provide their own housing and transportation for the duration of the internship
• All candidates must be able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the session
Program Dates
• All candidates must be available from September to December
• All candidates must be willing to work 40 hours/week
