The Client Services team is an integral part of Disney Institute and is critical to the success of our overall business. They serve as the link between Disney Institute, our partners and clients. As a Client Services Intern, it will be important to demonstrate a high level of analytical aptitude, guest service skills, confidence in one's own ability, and discretion. A successful intern works well in a team environment while potentially supporting multiple Cast Members in a variety of portfolios including Advisory Services, Meetings & Conventions, Professional Development Courses, Sponsorship Series, and Summits. All interns at Disney Institute will participate in an Intern Development Program, which will include meetings with an assigned mentor, professional development opportunities, and a final presentation/project to share experiences and insights from your internship.
Responsibilities
may include:
• Building and maintaining positive relationships with partners, guests, and clients
• Answering basic client and guest questions regarding Disney Institute products
• Scheduling and participating in meetings; maintaining accurate notes, record of deadlines, and communication
• Conducting research regarding Clients, companies, conferences, and trade shows
• Monitoring email inboxes
• Reviewing orders for accuracy
• Setting up and assisting with in-house client meetings
• Creating and maintaining communication templates and program records
• Coordinating and reviewing logistics for client site visits and programs; assisting onsite as operational needs demand
• Working within multiple computer systems to ensure accurate and consistent information
• Working effectively with Client Services Coordinators to support portfolio needs
• Partnering with Administrative team to inventory supplies, order, and restock
Basic Qualifications:

• Works well in a fast-paced environment with ability to handle multiple tasks and competing priorities
• Maintains positive working relationships with Cast Members, clients, and operating areas with ability to work individually or as part of a team
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills including professional telephone etiquette
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Ability to handle confidential information
• Self-starter with need for minimal follow up
• Proficiency in Windows environment including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to learn new software applications
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bilingual
• Experience working with executives or other senior leaders
• Proficiency in Siebel, R2, Certain, DSCS, WebBEO, WorkFront
• Valid U.S. driver's license
• Previous Walt Disney Parks & Resorts experience
Required Education
• Current student or recent graduate pursuing a degree in Business, Human Resources, Communications, or closely related field
Additional Information:
Internship Eligibility:
• At the time of application, must be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within 6 months OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program.
• Must possess unrestricted work authorization
• Must provide full work availability
• Must provide own transportation to/from work
• Current Active Disney cast members must meet Professional Internship transfer guidelines (for Walt Disney World cast members this is no more than four points and one reprimand in the last six months; for Disneyland cast members this is six months of consecutive service and a performance record clear of any disciplinary issues (warnings, suspensions, etc.) for at least six months)
Program Length: The approximate dates of this internship are June 2020 through January 2021. Interns must be fully available for the duration of the internship.
Housing: This internship is based in Orlando, FL. A limited amount of company-sponsored housing is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
