Full Time Job
The Disney Television Animation team (TVA) is seeking a qualified candidate for Senior Manager, Operations. This person will oversee facilities and operations for more than 700 employees and will manage staff, vendors, contractors and service providers in all aspects of day-to-day operations to ensure the studio's business objectives and initiatives are met.
Responsibilities
Resource Management
• Manage TVA Resource Management Procure-to-Pay process for all capital and production overhead purchases.
• Identify, evaluate, and recommend procedures to increase efficiency.
• Oversee purchasing supervisor and execution of all FF&E purchases, capital and expense purchases for TVA.
Operations Management
• Develop training guidelines and standard operating procedures for daily operations at all TVA facilities.
• Develop and monitor adherence for TVA policies and procedures relating to Operations and Facilities.
• Evaluate, design, and create efficient business process flows (i.e. mail, FedEx, driver runs, storage, security, janitorial, vendor policies & procedures, space, copiers, furniture, telecommunications, etc.)
• Manage space planning, allocation, and weekly production/departmental moves at multiple TVA locations.
• Perform occupancy and headcount analysis projections for space planning.
• Effectively communicate all quality control issues to CRE/FSS services management.
• Ensure safety, timeliness and cost-effective processing in time sensitive environment.
• Collaborate with Technology to implement Facility Management Program
• Inventory management.
• Establish service contracts and ensure preventative maintenance schedule in place at all facilities.
• Oversee staff to meet performance goals within established guidelines.
• Have quality ongoing conversations with staff regarding career aspirations and performance.
• Collaborate with VP, Strategy to develop, implement, and track fiscal, capital and operating budgets including preparation of fiscal year capital and departmental headcount budgets.
• Other projects as assigned.
Project Management
• Manage projects from inception to completion for capital projects, tenant improvements, remodels, and reconfigurations.
• Evaluate budget, scope and specifications of project to ensure contractor or vendor meets division requirements.
• Execute final vendor/contractor contracts.
Basic Qualifications
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities operations supporting a large organization with complex organizational structures.
• Experience directly supervising staff employees.
• Experience with SAP, AutoCad, Archibus, Microsoft Office Suite, Mircrosoft Project and FileMaker.
• Works well in a fast-paced, dynamic production environment.
• Detail-oriented; thought leader; exceptional project manager, and works well with teams.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in production facilities operations a plus; experience with food service management a plus.
Required Education
• Bachelor's degree required.
Preferred Education
• Undergrad or advanced degree in business, facilities or a related field is preferred.
