This is a Full Time Job
ABC7 is seeking an experienced Network Administrator to support digital media operations and Eyewitness News.
Responsibilities
Duties will include user account and security management, office systems and application support. The position is also responsible for planning and managing projects including design and implementation of network, server and desktop hardware, as well as software applications. Responsibilities will occasionally require working evenings, overnight, and weekends.
Basic Qualifications
The successful candidate will demonstrate knowledge of Windows servers and desktop products and the ability to administer a 250 node network. A current working knowledge of communication devices and protocols, server and desktop technologies is expected.
Preferred Qualifications
Skills in advanced scripting, automated software deployment, and systems management applications such as SCCM are desirable. Experience with VMware and Linux is also a plus. Candidates should be able to manage multiple projects and activities simultaneously and be proficient verbal and written communicators.
