Job Summary:
This position will be responsible for managing multiple digital creative projects and campaigns for ABC's Entertainment Marketing division. They will work with our media agency, several different external creative agencies; our internal digital strategy and social media team; as well as the internal creative team.
This position will directly report to the Manager of Digital Production for ABC Entertainment Marketing. The Director of Digital Strategy who oversees the entire Digital Marketing team will also have oversight of the position, but not as a direct supervisor or for day to day management.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing up to 30% of all digital media campaigns and interactive features. This includes every aspect of a given campaign from idea inception to execution and show launch. This will include quality control of everything that is built, trafficking ad units, ensuring entire media plan is executed and delivered on time. Background in creative production is required.
- Responsible for determining creative allocations across digital media plans, sending recommendations internally for approval and finally delivering the correct spots to the media agency.
-Develop creative content and strategy to engage audiences in an Always On approach. Leveraging organic social media channels, talent, press outlets, and partner distribution opportunities content will be created outside of media campaigns to engage fans throughout the season and beyond.
- Partner with internal teams to develop creative strategies that are on the cutting edge and can truly break through the clutter to have an impact.
- Manage and maintain budget documentation and tracking for the digital marketing projects this individual will oversee. Budget management is a key aspect of the role to get maximum ROI for all projects.
-Assist Manager of Digital Production with organization of budget documents and management. No direct oversight of budget or negotiation power, but will be responsible for reporting on all digital marketing financial activities.
Basic Qualifications:
-This position requires at least 4 years' experience managing digital campaigns (both display and social), with a background in the entertainment industry preferred
-Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, QuickTime Pro
-Basic understanding of digital media and social media landscape.
Preferred Qualifications:
-Experience with Final Cut Pro or other video editing software
Required Education
Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Business, or Graphic Design
