Responsibilities
CNN International is the world's leading international news channel, reaching hundreds of millions of households across the globe. Quest Means Business is our flagship business program. The show looks to dispel the myth that business is boring, providing creative, smart analysis of the days major events. We are looking for an intern who will contribute ideas and energy to our team while learning the basics of television production.
-Interns will gain experience in the production of a program and see how show ideas are developed, how video is gathered and edited, the script-writing process, and how the program is built from an editorial and production perspective.
-The intern will also book, research and greet show guests and contribute in future meetings.
-Interns will also learn how to use CNN's video library to locate elements for packages and sound bites for air.
-Interns will help share the content across multiple platforms including social media.
-This internship will offer a great opportunity to strengthen your research and communication skills.
-Intern schedules vary and may include weekend work.
Qualifications
• Must be a Junior, Senior or Graduate Student (18 years or older)
• Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university degree program for the full duration of the internship (proof of enrollment required)
• Must be in academic good standing (2.8 or above GPA)
• Must have the legal right to work in the United States

• Our Spring 2023 program is a 12 Week Internship that will run from Monday, February 6th through Friday, April 28th, 2023
• Part time-schedule (16-24 hours/week) required
• Our internships are paid opportunities with a competitive hourly wage. Credit is not required; however, we will provide the necessary documentation for school credit if desired. Relocation is not provided.
