We are seeking candidates for the position of a Sales Planner in our Los Angeles, California office.
Responsibilities:
1. Create & revise sales plans in DealBuilder.
2. Ensure timely delivery of quarterly pre/post analysis reports, calculate underdelivery when necessary, and maintain weekly status of accounts.
3. Responsible for system maintenance & stewardship of deals.
4. Monitor and report client delivery weekly and strategize with AE on which accounts have ADU priority.
5. Work with pricing, planning and inventory to create recap and ADU packages that will ensure delivery.
6. Generate quarterly posts, including C-Post maintenance and post letters.
7. Troubleshoot past discrepancies, investigate history of account, identify problems and provide viable resolution.
8. Run stewardship reports.
9. Prepare hold/order letters and forms for internal purposes and for clients.
10. Assist the sales assistants with responsibilities of a deal including: flighting, weekly allocations, quarterly allocations, added value scheduling, move requests, traffic issues and EDI.
11. Research potential prospects and current advertisers by using resource tools.
12. Strategize with Account Executives for current and prospective accounts.
13. Create sales presentations.
14. Work with marketing to brainstorm marketing ideas/concepts.
15. Work with research to develop customized “stories”.
16. Researching any discrepancy issues that come up and solving them in the appropriate ways.
Requirements:
* Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
* Work closely with inventory manager on all client requests.
