Full Time Job
The Revenue Analyst role specifically includes but is not limited to: managing the compliance process for a portfolio of accounts with distributors, cash application, account reconciliation, financial & trending analysis, and collections. The Revenue Analyst will interact regularly with a cross-functional team of internal and external stakeholders, including partnering closely with the finance team that supports the distribution revenue area, and will serve as a subject matter expert for their portfolio of accounts.
Responsibilities
1. Analysis
• Perform monthly Revenue/Subscriber Flux reconciliations and analysis
• Analyze historical data to recognize and monitor relevant trends
• Produce ad hoc analysis to service interdepartmental customers
• Assist billing manager with flux preparation and analyses
2. Compliance
• Monitor Affiliate compliance with new and existing legal agreements
• Articulate areas of specific concern with management
• Work with external customers to resolve AR and payment issues
• Work collaboratively with team members, internal and external customers, management and stakeholders
3. Financial & Accounting
• Reconcile monthly payments and invoicing
• Participate in month-end close process
• Process monthly remittances and payments
4. Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
* Bachelors Degree (accounting, finance))
* 1-3 years prior work experience
* Excellent analytical skills and critical thinking
* Must have the legal right to work in the United States
* Proactive individual with a ‘can do’ attitude
* Proficient in MS Excel (pivot tables, lookup formulas, Power Query)
* Ability to understand contract terms
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to work efficiently, and design/implement process improvements
* Highly organized and able to manage priorities effectively
* Must be detail-oriented and able to deliver on multiple timelines
* Must possess the ability to manage sensitive and confidential issues
* Comfortable working in fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
* Ability to develop and foster positive relationships
* Must have the legal right to work in the United States
It’s a plus if you have:
* CPA or MBA
* Proficiency of SAP
* Experience working in the media industry
* Experience manipulating and analyzing large quantities of data
