Position Summary:
The Program Sales Representative is responsible for manage United States and International Airline television broadcasting rights for Discovery Inc. portfolio of networks. Will provide high level of client customer service to international client base. Respond to client queries regarding programs, languages, rights and invoice discrepancies. Screen new premieres each month and send clients targeted program recommendations. Actively develop sales pipelines, added trade shows and participate in special projects as assigned.
Responsibilities
1. Manager 10 US and International airline accounts.
• Provide high level of client customer service to international client base.
• Respond to client queries regarding programs, languages, rights or invoice discrepancies.
• Screen new premieres each month and send clients targeted program recommendations.
2. Handle daily account operations for clients and liaison internal stakeholders.
• Process purchase orders within one day of receipt.
• Ensure client materials are delivered by deadlines.
• Create contracts, send to clients prior to start of exhibition; upload executed contracts to internal databases.
• Send executed licenses to finance at beginning of each month for invoicing.
• Submit rights requests to Legal for all programs; update master spreadsheet with programs and confirmed rights.
• Order and upload screeners to Box for all clients.
Assist sales manager with program searches for cruise line and non-theatric clients, and program screening.
• Create sales tools for sales manager – program descriptions, one sheets, spreadsheets, program grids.
3. Actively development and maintain sales pipeline with assigned categories and/or territories.
• Update pipeline each month with all new and executed deals and royalty payments.
• Submit to finance by deadline each month.
• Assist Program Sales Manager(s) with trade show planning including registration, processing invoices, program screening, and shipping materials.
4. Will participate in special projects as assigned.
Requirements
* College Degree or equivalent sales experience required.
* Strong customer service skills.
* Ability to work with a diverse group of internal and external clients.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Ability to work under tight deadlines.
* Must be extremely organized and detail-oriented; ability to multi-task; proactive.
* Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
* Ability to work 9am-6pm; Mon – Fri.
* Must have the legal right to work in the United States
