Discovery, Inc. is searching for a Program Management Coordinator to join their team located in Knoxville, TN. This role will assist in programming project management for HGTV, DIY and GAC to help keep our team on track by communicating production changes and supporting efficient workflow throughout the production process. Responsibilities
1. Maintain multiple department databases, including master database of pitches, proof of concept’s, pilots with submissions and their status
2. Create PowerPoint presentations, organize and pull clips from shows for various meetings
3. Help track show titles
4. Assist in tracking of production contracts, talent contracts, overages and approvals
5. Partner with the digital team to help coordinate shared talent, pitches and content while also helping to obtain programming/series assets to be shared
6. Field requests from production companies and individuals seeking to pitch ideas and talent to the network
7. Create, gather, update, distribute and maintain weekly/monthly production documents
8. Coordinate department calendars, meetings and conference calls including booking catering, gathering and organizing materials, running video and taking notes
9. Request media assets from the Media Center for Knoxville Programming Executives and their production companies (sometimes for screening, sometimes for edit)
10. Maintain in-office & department production boards
11. Employee will also perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
* 2 years of production experience; Associate degree in broadcast, film or related field preferred
* A consistent record of working in programming and production environments
* Excellent communication and follow-up skills and the capability of working on multiple projects in various stages of production in an extremely fast-paced environment
* You shine with a ‘can do’ positive attitude and love collaborating with multiple teammates
* Impeccable organizational skills, accuracy, attention to detail, and make sure to always dot your 'i's and cross your 't's
* Ability to monitor timelines and adjust your work as needed, prioritizing the most important pieces to achieve incredible success
* Multi-tasker and professional who keeps it together and keeps rolling along even when things get tough
* You can really work your way around Microsoft products
* Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
